Activities and Societies: 10+ GCSE's & 4 GNVQ's, multiple headteachers merits & some other stuff. Ranked high at a Jaguar Design Tech event representing the school. I was also one of the "this is one of our students" safe bets to speak with visitors. My functional skills were updated in 2014'ish & my spelling, vocabulary & handwriting are very good. Gifted at maths, graphics design, IT, sciences (our 'top class' took double science) & hockey - I'm probably missing something stupidly important ^-^

Higher scores indicate more neuroticism, the normal range seems to be 20 to 55, with scores of 10 or less being very low and scores of 65 or more being very high. But this is very different from what the original interpretation guidelines say. Franz (1919) reported that the average White individual scored only 10 and recommended that people who scored higher than twenty should be suspected of instability. By this metric, 81.86% of our modern sample is psychologically unstable, which seems unlikely! Other sources from that era also report much lower scores, Papurt (1930) reports average scores by gender, here are his numbers compared to ours:

    1930 Males19.34 Today 32.8
    1930 Females19.92 Today 39.2

The great magnitude of the difference seems inexplicable. It is, of course, quite possible that average levels of mental instability have increased over time, and other data-sets do show this trend. Twenge (2010) analyzed administrations of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory from 1938 to 2007 and found increases on all clinical scales, such that five times as many people now meet the original cutoffs for psychopathology. That change on the MMPI is not outside the realm of plausibility, but that magnitude of the change here is just too staggering to believe: it is hard to see how almost everyone today could have lower mental health than almost everyone a century ago.

When faced with a problem or tough decision, you're not only able to break things down
and make an informed and sensible choice, but you're also not afraid to go with your gut
when necessary. You tend to express your individuality both in words and actions, and
although you're perfectly comfortable running on a schedule or planning things ahead of
time, there are occasions when you love to throw in a little spontaneity.

Your balanced outlook and approach to life creates a desire in you to not only understand
the world, but to also take it in your hands and mold it as you see fit. With both your right
and left hemispheres working together to guide you, you are able to understand yourself
and life in general from so many wonderful perspectives.

"Clever" is the word that perhaps describes ENTPs best. ENTPs are as innovative and ingenious at problem-solving as they are verbally & cerebrally quick; on occasion, however, they can manage to outsmart themselves. ENTPs can be prone to "sharp practice" – especially cutting corners without regard to the rules if it's expedient.
Both at work and at home, ENTPs are very fond of "toys" -- physical or intellectual, the more sophisticated the better. ENTPs are basically optimists. Major setbacks they regard as challenges, and tackle with determination. ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this. In general, however, they are genial, even charming, when not being harassed by life.
Capable of bonding very closely and suddenly with their loved ones, may appear deceptively offhand with their nearest and dearest. Quick to spot a kindred spirit, and good at acquiring friends of similar temperament and interests. May sometimes give the impression of being largely oblivious to the rest of humanity. It can be difficult to get an ENTP’s attention when they’re not immediately aware of you, especially for an Introvert. The best approach in communicating with an ENTP is to be straightforward. No games – they’ll win. No "pulling rank" – they won’t care. No apologies – you’ll undermine yourself. Try "I need/want to talk to you."
